Dear friends and family,
We can’t believe it’s almost here—just two weeks to go! We are so excited to share this day with all of you.
To help make the day smooth and enjoyable, here are all the final details and key information you need to know:
Schedule of Events
12:30 PM – Arrival of guests
1:00 PM – Ceremony (Will be held in St. Mary Church in Gernika)
2:00 PM – Welcome Cocktail (Will be held in Castillo de Arteaga)
3:30 PM – Banquet & Dinner
7:00 PM – Party & Open Bar
(Please arrive at least 15–20 minutes before the ceremony start time).
Transportation
Going to venue: A bus will depart from Bilbao Gran Vía 43 at 12:00 PM
The bus will stop behind the BilboBus station in front of this building.
Return trips: A return bus will leave the venue car park back to the same place in Bilbao Gran Vía 43 at approximately 11:15 PM
Parking: There is plenty of parking available at the hotel. However, parking at the church in Gernika is very limited, so we recommend taking the bus or a taxi rather than driving unless you know the area and where to park locally.
Dietary Requirements
If you have any food allergies, especially seafood, or specific dietary restrictions that you haven't notified us about yet, please let us know immediately.
Note: The venue requires all special dietary menu requests to be locked in at least 1 week prior to the wedding day.
Pre-Wedding Pintxos & Drinks
For those who are already in the city and want to try some local food and say hello before the wedding, we will be meeting up the night before at Plaza Nueva from 7:00 PM onwards for some pintxos and drinks. This is a large square full of wonderful bars. We cannot guarantee a table or a space inside a bar, but that is all part of the fun and how pintxos are enjoyed. We would love to see you there!
Photos & Unplugged Ceremony
During the Ceremony: We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. Our photographers will capture everything!
After the Ceremony: Feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you like during the cocktail and party! If you want to share them with us and each other, you can use our shared album QR code.
Hotel Accommodation (For guests staying at the hotel)
Check-in time: From 3:30 PM onwards
Check-out time: Next morning by 11:00 PM
